I would have no hesitation in using Mr Chipps myself for any tree related concerns. I would also suggest that Mr Chipps would be an excellent choice for further council projects as I believe Mr Chipps presents everything to rate holders that the council would like itself to present. Many thanks.

I write to thank you for the excellent service recently provided by your company. Being such a huge job there was always the danger that
damage could be caused to buildings and property by falling limbs.
This thankfully did not happen and it was obvious that this was due to the careful preparation and execution of the task by your workers.

Jon Derry, Principal, Anna Bay Public School.

We were very impressed with Shaun's knowledge of trees, and the professionalism displayed by all members of the team. They worked in
a steady and methodical way, were cheery and polite, so were a pleasure to have around the house. Our whole experience with the Mr
Chipps Strategic Tree Service company has been one of complete professionalism.

Jacqueline Rice, Elebana.

Mr Chipps Strategic Tree Services’ own workplace OH&S standards reflect the highest in industry standards accompanied with new modern equipment well maintained and serviced.

There is no tree too tall or job too small.

Mr Chipps provides the full range of
arboriculture services including:

Tree pruning is often essential to ensure the health of the tree by removing parasitic insect attack and decay and to ensure the safety of everything and everyone around it. Pruning may be needed to remove dangerous branches, correct structural deformities, allow more light to penetrate into the substrate to allow undergrowth to flourish, improve the appearance of the tree and prevent a tree from impacting on power lines or surrounding buildings. It is important to remember that the aim of any pruning should be to maintain the natural shape of the tree. Often in urban environments trees are planted without much thought about their eventual size and shape and as a result require pruning work as growth problems occur. Pruning work can take the form of crown thinning, crown lifting, crown reduction, deadwooding and branch reduction.

Tree removal should be looked at as the final stage in the process of tree management and ultimately safety must be the top priority. It is especially important to know if there are any tree preservation orders within your local government area, before any tree work is undertaken. If this is the case, appropriate permission must be sort with the relevant authorisation before the commencement of any activities. Certain tree species are toxic and cause allergies such as the Rhus tree and the seed pods from Norfolk Island Hibiscus. Some are considered to be noxious such as Camphor Laurel and Privet. Often trees outgrow the positions that they are in and present problems to infrastructure, causing damage to building foundations and sewer lines. Trees may also require removal after storm damage, drought affects or to create room for building purposes.

Transplanting trees specifically of canary island date palms is a speciality of Mr Chipps. The procedure requires that the best possible conditions during transplant are maintained, for the tree to survive. Considerations as to whether the tree is suitable for transplanting and the size of the tree, especially the root ball must be made, as permits may be needed for transport on public roads.

Land clearing is often needed for the development of land for housing and businesses. Mr Chipps are very mindful of being environmentally responsible when clearing land. They are careful not to damage the ground when using earth moving equipment and rehabilitate the land afterwards.

Stump grinding stops the regeneration of a tree permanently. Grinding the stump will also level the land and remove safety issues.

Tree management solutions: Mr Chipps can find the right tree for you, advise where it should be planted and help you care for it. Mr Chipps can plant your trees and prune and maintain them. It is important to remember that many Local Councils have legislative requirements and tree preservation orders governing what you can and can not do with the removal and planting of trees. Mr Chipps can help you meet those requirements.

Environmental management to assess a trees place in the local ecosystem and preserve the health and safety of both. For example, Mr Chipps may need to remove a tree from a sensitive area such as a natural water course, where they put in place solutions to prevent water degradation, silting of the water system and the integrity of the embankment.

Arboriculture management planning focuses on tree biology to ensure long term sustainability of this important natural resource. A proper arboricultural plan manages established trees to ensure good tree health and provides a strategic approach to planting new trees. Trees are significant financial investments for your property. Councils, Government organizations and businesses need to be increasingly mindful of investing more in trees, while safeguarding the community and property.

Arborist reports are often required by local council and contain full explanations of issues affecting trees on a property and makes recommendations on how to best manage the existing trees;

Emergency service responses. Mr Chipps is available to respond to emergency situations such as dangerous situations resulting from storms or cyclones where trees may be blocking roads, entangled in power lines or threatening the safety of buildings.
