21st February 2008
Attention Mr Ray Burton
Head of Parks and Gardens Maitland City Council

We are writing to thank Council for the removal of a lemon scented gum tree that has been concerning us for some time. In response to our letters and the representation of our neighbours regarding the tree in the walkway between numbers 6 and 7 Timor Close, the tree was removed Monday 18th February. The removal of the tree takes a load off our minds, as the risk of falling branches and the constant maintenance nightmare it has caused us are now gone. We would also like to compliment the team of workers "Mr Chipps Tree Removals", who council employed to do the job. It was professionally and courteously carried out with no damage to our property, in spite of the fact that it was such a large tree and had to be brought down in a fairly confined space. We had standard roses and gardens within a couple of metres of the trunk and they sustained no damage at all. We found the men to be caring of all our property and were very professional. They left the area clean and tidy and were in total contrast to other teams employed by council who we found to be, rude and had no concern for the property of others. Thank you once again for your prompt attention to this matter. Yours faithfully

I would happily re-employ MCSTSA as I consider that group to provide an excellent service to the community and they have demonstrated skills that show they are capable of delivering consistent good results and achieved our expectations. In particular their interaction with our neighbours was excellent.
